BenchwiseTerms of Use
Last updated: 5 October 2026
By using Benchwise you agree to these terms. Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement also applies: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
Using the app
Benchwise helps you plan cuts and materials for woodworking. Layouts, quantities, board feet, wood movement, hardness and other values are calculated from what you enter and from typical figures, and can be wrong for a real board or a real saw. Check your measurements, dimensions and the safety of your build before you cut. Work safely and use the protective equipment your tools call for.
Purchases
Benchwise Pro is available as a yearly subscription (with a 3-day free trial when you are eligible) and a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app in your currency. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the period; manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings. Payment is charged to your Apple Account.
Free plan
Every calculator, the wood guide, all ten plans, and cut lists of up to 20 pieces per project, with steps, notes, text sharing and backups, are free.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is". Deleting the app deletes its data; make a backup first if you want to keep your projects.
